The Munich Young Prize Competition will be held 14 March 2027 in two categories: “Professional Contemporary” and “Open Level Group: Classical Ballet and Contemporary”.

Registration until February 15th 2027
The aim of the Munich Young Prize is to bring together talented young dancers in a dynamic competition to compete for awards, meet potential employers and make new friends.
Join us in this enriching experience that paves the way for promising careers and creative collaborations in the world of dance.
All Finalists receive a diploma and a medal. The winner receives a cash prize (amount to be determined).
The participants perform in two categories: Solo and Group.

Competition program for Open Level Group: Classical Ballet and Contemporary

The goal of the Munich Young Prize for the Open Level Group is to organize young talented dancers to compete for the Awards. All participants receive a diploma and medals. The participants perform in two categories: Solo and Group.

Awards

The jury will award the following prizes in each Group:
A. MUNICH YOUNG PRIZE GRAND PRIX
B. MUNICH YOUNG PRIZE 1st PLACE
C. MUNICH YOUNG PRIZE 2nd PLACE
D. MUNICH YOUNG PRIZE 3rd PLACE
E. CONTEMPORARY DANCE AWARD
F. BEST YOUNG TALENT AWARD
G. BEST CANDIDATE FROM A GERMAN SCHOOL AWARD
H. AUDIENCE FAVORITE AWARD
This award reflects a “favorite preference” of the audience during the Final.
I. WEB AUDIENCE FAVORITE AWARD
This award is attributed to the most voted candidate of the Final in the Instagram.
