About the founder of the Munich Young Prize Competition.

The Munich Young Prize 2026, international competition for young dancers, is organized by International Ballet School Alte Heide, with headquarters in Munich, Germany. It will be held from Wednesday, 11 February, to Saturday, 14 February at the Bürgerhaus in Garching b. Munich, Germany.

The International Ballet School Alte Heide was founded in Munich, Germany, by ballerina and former soloist of the Ukrainian Ballet, Olga Bielosokhova.
Today, the school proudly welcomes over 300 students and is supported by a dedicated team of 20 professional teachers. The curriculum includes a wide range of disciplines, such as classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz modern, performance dance, and more.

Students of the school regularly appear in ballet performances across theaters in Germany and Austria, gaining valuable stage experience and exposure to professional environments.

In addition to regular training, the International Ballet School Alte Heide offers a variety of enriching programs, including holiday dance camps for children and intensive workshops for youth and adults.

Importantly, the school is also committed to inclusion and accessibility. A specialized program is available for children and young people with physical and developmental disabilities, offering creative dance and therapeutic gymnastics in a supportive and inspiring environment.

The International Ballet School Alte Heide continues to grow as a vibrant, inclusive space where passion for dance meets professional excellence.
